Kono Yubi TomaREDS! Looking back on the 4th year and looking ahead to the 5th year

"Kono Yubi TomaREDS!", an initiative that works with supporters and advocates to solve problems facing local communities, began in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will mark four years in the 2024 season.
Looking back at the fourth year (2024)
"Food Drive"
[Collaborators: Saitama City (Resource Circulation Policy Division), NPO Food Bank Saitama, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company Urawa Branch]
This was carried out as part of various initiatives related to the SDGs on "Sustainable Day" at the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Round 25 match against Kashiwa Reysol on Wednesday, August 7th. Although the event was canceled midway due to bad weather, in addition to the food drive, we also collected "small appliances" with the aim of reducing "non-burnable waste" and extending the life of final disposal sites, and we received cooperation from many visitors.

" Kono Yubi TomaREDS! × Red Feather Fundraiser"
[Collaborator: Saitama Prefectural Community Chest]
The training was carried out at two matches: the J1 League Round 31 match against FC Tokyo on Saturday, September 21st, and the J1 League Round 36 match Sanfrecce Hiroshima on (Sat) 10th.
Many fans and supporters rushed to help and generously donated 1,260,846 yen. The donations received from you will be used as operating funds for "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!"

"Heartful Care"
*The event was postponed due to a conflict between the match schedule and the schedule of the Children's Cafeteria.
"Peer Shop Support Project" <NEW!>
[Collaborator: Saitama City (Disability Welfare Division)]
This was implemented as the first step in the "Support for People with Disabilities" action program, which was launched in the fourth year.
On Ayumi Niekawa, September 5th, the two players Rio Nitta visited Hibiki, a welfare facility for people with disabilities, and interacted with the residents through activities such as making goods.

As part of our SDGs activities, Mouse Computer is strengthening our activities for educational support and regional development. Through these activities, we believe that we can not only achieve our own goals, but also address social issues through collaboration with our partners.
We are deeply grateful to Urawa Reds for initiating this activity and for the cooperation of our partner companies, who acted as a go-between. We will continue to work hard to contribute even further to solving issues in Saitama Prefecture.
We will also do our best to support the spread of "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!" so we appreciate your continued support.

Saitama City Welfare Bureau Disability Welfare Division: Section Chief Kurihara Akira (Peer Shop Support Project)

We are grateful that we have been able to collaborate with Saitama City's Peer Shop Project as part of our "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!" activities.
A peer shop is a store run by users and staff of facilities for people with disabilities in Saitama City, selling handmade cookies, bread, handicrafts, etc. at ward offices and other locations, and they also set up stalls at various events.
At our stall at Saitama Stadium in September, all the goods made together by players and facility users sold out, and the venue was bustling with fans and supporters. We feel that this was a great opportunity to raise awareness of Pier Shop among the general public.
We hope to continue working together in the future, so we appreciate your continued support.

Towards the 5th year (2025)
In 2025, the fifth year of the initiative, we plan to further expand each of our actions and also undertake "new actions," which we have been gradually increasing each year.
The club will continue to lead the way with the slogan "Come to this finger!", so please come to our finger. And let's gather the strength of everyone involved with Urawa Reds and work together to solve the problems facing the local community!
