"Great East Japan Earthquake Support Project"
about
Urawa Reds is carrying out the "Great East Japan Earthquake Relief Project" in collaboration with the United Nations-affiliated organization "Friends of the United Nations Asia Pacific" as reconstruction support for the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.
Mainly for people living in the disaster area and those affected by the disaster, players, coaches, Heart-full Club coaches, etc. will enjoy soccer together, "care for children's minds" and support activities such as providing supplies. Based on the idea that "it is important to stay close to the affected areas for a long period of time," we are aiming for long-lasting activities.
Support money from fans and supporters will be accepted at home game venues, etc., and the support money will be used for support activities in line with the purpose. We will keep you updated on the status of the fundraising, how it will be used, and our support activities on Urawa Reds official website.
In January 2012, we finished collecting donations, which started immediately after the earthquake. A total of 58,190,872 yen, including donations from players, staff, and clubs, was delivered to the affected areas through the J League and other means. Thank you very much again.
