Summary of the first year
Aiming to solve social issues in the region, the newly launched "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!"
In the first year, we worked to support children's cafeterias.
In "Heartful Care", although the schedule was postponed due to the influence of the coronavirus, we were able to support 65 children (146 parents and children) to "make memories" that are not often experienced in everyday life. rice field.
"REDS Santa" received support from 16 companies, including partner companies, and was able to deliver the thoughts packed in 200 cardboard boxes to 800 children and 27 children's cafeterias. Support was not limited to the donation of goods, but we received support in various forms, such as delivery, packing materials, and operational cooperation.
Here are some comments from people who rushed to "Kono Yubi" this time.
The Future of "Kono Yubi"
Through this series of activities, we were not able to clearly solve the problem. We believe that the accumulation of “one by one activities” that we will continue to do will eventually lead to the resolution of issues.
I would like to continue and deepen the relationship with the children's cafeteria that I built this time.
In the future, we will also work on new activities to identify other social issues that local communities face and work together to solve them.
In order to do that, we need more people to run to "Kono Yubi". From now on, the club will continue to hold the finger high, saying, "Kono Yubitomare", so we ask for your continued support and cooperation.
Children's cafeterias in Saitama City have invited us to participate in "Heartful Care" where they can experience soccer and watch the Reds game, and "REDS Santa" has invited many companies to offer snacks and rice to 27 groups. I received a present with sincerity and enthusiasm. Many families have never been to the Saitama Stadium, even though it is located in their hometown, and the scale and splendor of the stadium have received a lot of emotion and gratitude from the children.
In the future, we will continue to work with the local Urawa Reds as a community-based and regional cornerstone.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to hold an event together the other day. Thank you to all the players and staff.
We are still a little-known sport, so the opportunity to introduce, understand, and experience this kind of thing is very valuable, and it was a good opportunity to study and gain confidence for the next step.
At the trial session, I was able to spend a very meaningful time with the children, and the players and staff showed me their hard work and smiles. On the contrary, the players were happy to have been able to get well. I hope we can work together again in the future.
I am very honored to hear about REDS Santa and to be able to participate in supporting children.
At DHL, we are working together as a group to promote "GoGreen" (environmental protection activities), "GoHelp" (support for disaster sites and vulnerable people), "GoTeach" (participation in educational support activities), and "GoTrade" (international trade and business activities). We carry out various social contribution activities around the world based on the four themes of
We will continue to think about what we can do for the local community and continue our social contribution activities so that we can have a positive impact on society in the future, even with the restrictions of the corona disaster.
Thank you very much for implementing such a wonderful project for the children who will lead the future of Saitama.
On the day of the event, the staff prepared for us about two hours before the start of the event, and I was very impressed with how seriously they played while interacting with the children with smiles during the event.
Urawa Reds are the pride of Saitama that everyone recognizes, and they are a dream for children. Please continue to lend your support to the children who use the children's cafeteria in Saitama Prefecture and to the children who are the treasures of society. thank you!
