Urawa Reds Disabled Art Exhibition 2023 "LIVE TOGETHER!"

We are pleased to announce that the Disabled Urawa Reds Exhibition 2023 "LIVE TOGETHER!"

story
It was 10 years ago that Urawa Reds began interacting with everyone from the social welfare corporation Minuma Fukushikai Koboshu, who are cooperating with this project.

At that time, Koboshu was a facility for people with severe disabilities to attend. At the request of the staff of the facility, an activity to send out to the world through creations was started. Urawa Reds staff who sympathized with the idea began to visit the facility, and this relationship began.

When I learned that the artist of the studio collection used woodwork scraps from Fujishima Urawa Reds next to Saitama Stadium, I felt an even greater sense of connection. When the atelier was opened, he rushed with Yoshiyuki Sato, president of Fujishima Construction, and deepened exchanges, such as gifting Reds Rose.

And after 10 years, with the cooperation of various people, we have been able to hold an art exhibition for people with disabilities at Saitama Stadium, which we have been hoping for a long time.

"Expression" is what human beings live for.
The title, “LIVE TOGETHER!”, refers to disabled artists who put all their energy into their work, whether it be the players playing soccer on the pitch or the fans and supporters supporting the team in the stands with their voices and clapping hands. We want Saitama Stadium to be a place where everyone can express themselves, live together and feel happy.

This time, we will introduce works by 11 artists active in Saitama Prefecture.
In addition, we will also exhibit works drawn by Aya Watanabe and Yuki Tanaka, who are artists belonging to Koboshu, on the theme of Urawa Reds.
