Concerning violations by Urawa Reds supporters (8th report)

We would like to provide a follow-up report regarding the violation of match management regulations by Urawa Reds supporters (hereinafter referred to as the "Involved Act") that occurred during the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Football Championship Round 16 (4th round) match against Nagoya Grampus (hereinafter referred to as the Match). I will let you know.

Once again, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to so many people, including the supporters of Nagoya Grampus.

Today, November 9th (Thursday), the board of directors of the Japan Football Association (hereinafter referred to as JFA) was held, and the association decided on new punishments for the 24 people responsible for this act. We are pleased to inform you that we have received the notification.


■Disciplinary action against the offender from JFA, which was notified today

Jumping, dangerous activities, and vandalism
(Acts such as descending onto the pitch without permission from the organizer, etc. and crowding together, creating a danger of a crowd avalanche, and kicking or knocking down facility equipment, resulting in the need for repairs)

Person who engaged in disciplinary action ① (1 person)

・Disposal details
Indefinite entry prohibited

・Games subject to punishment
All matches held in Japan (including matches sponsored by the Japan Football Association, as well as matches sponsored by the J League and various federations)

(Acts that created a danger of crowd avalanche by descending onto the pitch without obtaining permission from the organizer, etc. and crowding together in a group)

Persons who engaged in disciplinary action ② (21 people)

Prohibition of entry to the 10 targeted matches and JFA-sponsored matches held between them.

・Games subject to punishment
At this time, except for one game, the schedule for games after 2024 has not been determined, but a total of 10 games will be subject to disciplinary action, in the order in which the games fall under 1 to 4 below.
In addition, other JFA-sponsored games held until the 10th game is subject to punishment will also be subject to the same punishment.

<Additional information regarding punishment for offenders>
1. Regarding this disciplinary action, JFA confirmed the video footage obtained by JFA between the JFA department and Urawa Reds competition management department, and after reaching an agreement to discuss disciplinary action against the offender. The final decision was made by. We will continue to investigate this incident, including checking the footage.
2.Of the 24 people who were subject to disciplinary action, one person who committed the disciplinary action ① was subject to disciplinary action in a release issued by our club on August 3rd (Thursday) titled "Regarding Violations by Urawa Reds Supporters". He is not one of the 77 offenders who committed the crime, and in the course of the subsequent ongoing investigation, he was newly identified as an individual with the cooperation of Urawa Reds supporters. In addition to the above-mentioned disciplinary action taken by JFA, this individual will also be subject to an indefinite ban on admission to all Urawa Reds matches, whether domestic or overseas, as an additional disciplinary action taken by the club.
3. Of the total 24 people subject to Urawa Reds, 23 people who committed acts ② and ③ were listed as follows: It has been confirmed that this is the same as the person who committed the act of trespassing into a restricted area (person 3 subject to punishment in the same release). It has been confirmed that the 23 individuals did not engage in any acts of violence, intimidation, vandalism, or insults, but on October 26th (Thursday), our club released a statement titled ``Violations by Urawa Reds Supporters.'' We will consider our club's response in accordance with the decision-making process for disciplinary action and the cancellation of disciplinary action as set out in "Regarding Conduct (Seventh Report)".
