Warning about individuals impersonating Urawa Reds supporters

Thank you very much for your continued support of Urawa Reds.

For the past month or so, it has been confirmed that there are individuals at and around soccer match venues, including matches in which Urawa Reds are not participating, who have been falsely claiming to be Urawa Reds supporters belonging to a specific supporter group, and who have been behaving in a way that could be perceived as nuisance.

Our club's response to this incident has been led by the Competition Management Headquarters, who have made efforts to prevent any further violations from occurring by contacting the individual in question, communicating with the supporter group whose name was used by that individual, and sharing information with the J.League and opposing J.League clubs.
Furthermore, through the above communication, it has been confirmed that the individual in question has never belonged to the supporter group whose name was used, either now or in the past.

Of the series of actions by this individual that we are aware of at this time, none clearly violate the match management regulations. However, we have decided to issue this notice as we believe there is a high risk of such a situation developing.

Our club will continue to make every effort to prevent any further violations, but if any further violations of the match management regulations by this individual are confirmed, we will take appropriate and firm action in a timely manner.

We ask that you do not respond to provocations from any nuisance actors, not just the individual in question, and that if you see such behavior, please contact a nearby security staff or club staff.

Let's all work together as Urawa Reds to create a safe, comfortable, exciting and packed stadium.
