Following on from last season, top partner MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as Mitsubishi Motors) will provide the plug-in hybrid SUV "Outlander PHEV" to players who represent the future of Urawa Reds Diamonds this season as part of the "URAWA FUTURE Award supported by Mitsubishi Motors."

The selection method will be significantly changed for the 2024 season, and the winners will be determined based on the total driving distance plus votes from fans and supporters before and after the final race.

2024 season planning purpose
This season's "URAWA FUTURE Award supported by Mitsubishi Motors" will be decided by the total distance traveled by the players and the votes of the supporters. Among various stats, "total distance traveled" has been adopted as it is considered to be the stat that best represents this award in the following ways:
- Representing the power and high driving performance of the Outlander PHEV (and the Mitsubishi Motors lineup).
・Points that symbolize the Urawa Reds' team concept, such as "seamless offense and defense, playing without letting the opponent rest"

How the winners are selected + the players
- Winner selection method: The athlete who receives the most votes based on total distance traveled and supporter voting results.
*1km total distance traveled is calculated as 1 vote.
・Target players: Players who are under the team's average age (28 years old) as of the final match (12/8)
*If you are not currently a member of Urawa Reds at the time the winners are announced (scheduled for January 2025), you will not be eligible.
* Atsuki Ito is the 2023 award recipient and is not eligible this year.

Total distance traveled
We will use stats from J-League matches in which he played as a Urawa Reds player, provided by Data Stadium.

"I was really happy to receive this award last time through the votes of our fans and supporters. It motivates young drivers, so I'm very grateful that they're offering it again this year. As the previous year's winner, I'm not eligible this time, which is disappointing as I was hoping for a second car, but I'll be keeping an eye on who wins. I hope everyone will keep an eye on it and take part in the final vote."
