Announcement of "Learn more! Feel more! About disaster prevention" event on Saturday, October 5th against Cerezo OSAKA
We are pleased to announce that as part of Urawa Red Diamonds' SDGs, we will be holding an event called "Learn More! Experience! Disaster Prevention" at the 33rd round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League against Cerezo Osaka [MATCH PARTNER J:COM] (kickoff at 4:00 p.m., Saitama Stadium) on Saturday, Urawa Reds 5th, to allow people to experience disaster prevention up close.
Japan is a country prone to natural disasters, and not only does Saitama City experience frequent heavy rain and flooding, but it is also anticipated that there will be severe damage from major earthquakes, such as a "Tokyo Metropolitan Earthquake" or a "Nankai Trough Earthquake," which are feared to occur in the future.
This event is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to think about disaster prevention by learning about what we can do if a disaster occurs, experiencing the work of a firefighter or rescue dog handler who protects our precious lives and cities, and interacting with rescue dogs.
Let's start by doing what we can now to make our city a disaster-resistant, sustainable place where we can continue to enjoy Urawa Reds and the wonderful sport of soccer!
(With the cooperation of Saitama City Fire Department and Japan Kennel Club)
