To everyone attending today
On behalf of Urawa Reds, I would like to thank all the fans, supporters, and soccer fans of both clubs who attended the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League, No. 28 Urawa Reds vs. Kawasaki Frontale, as well as Kawasaki Frontale, which has an ACL away game immediately following the resumed match, and everyone who cooperated in various ways to make this match a success. On behalf of , I would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who have cooperated in various ways in organizing this match.
In accordance with the J-League match regulations, the official attendance for this week's game was 35,188, but for today's resumed game, 20,214 people came to the venue.
It is not difficult to imagine how much energy it takes to come to Saitama Stadium for a 45-minute game that kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on a weekday, when people are busy with work, school, household chores, childcare, and other various responsibilities.
I understand that everyone had different circumstances and thoughts, but in the end, even those who could not make the arrangements to come to the game were not able to make it, and it was an opportunity to realize once again that the J-League and Urawa Reds are strongly supported by those who carry such energy in their hearts.
Urawa Reds The 2024 season of the J-League will come to an end with only two games remaining.
With our victory in the 36th game, we have crossed a hurdle that, while not the minimum, is absolutely necessary, and I promise that we will not be ashamed of those who gave their hearts and minds to a game played under such special conditions right after that.
Finally, to all of you, regardless of which club you support, please have a safe trip home today.
Urawa Red Diamonds Representative Makoto Taguchi
