・Background to the decision on disciplinary measures
<Wednesday, February 26th, match day>
Staff from the Competition Management Department of our club visually confirmed the act of the person subject to disciplinary action on-site. A face-to-face questioning of the person subject to disciplinary action was conducted on the same day. Furthermore, we took seriously the fact that the person subject to disciplinary action was the same person who was notified in the "Warning regarding individuals impersonating Urawa Reds supporters" issued on May 16, 2024, and after checking the matter against the "Urawa Red Diamonds Soccer Match Management Management Regulations" and the "J.League Match Management Penalty Regulations" and discussing it within the Competition Management Department, we decided on a disciplinary policy as the Competition Management Department and notified the person. The person acknowledged the violation and obtained a written memorandum stating that he would not commit any future violations.

In order to make a final decision on the club's disciplinary measures, the Compliance Committee will convene on Sunday, March 2nd, the earliest possible date given the committee members' schedules.

<Sunday, March 2>
A compliance committee meeting was held and the above disciplinary measures were officially decided.

<Thursday, March 6>
The above-mentioned persons subject to disciplinary action have been notified of the officially decided disciplinary action.

The Competition Management Headquarters staff had long been aware that the individual subject to the disciplinary measures was at high risk of violating the rules, and even after the announcement in May of last year, when he visited the stadium, he had been the cause of serious trouble with surrounding Urawa Reds supporters on multiple occasions, although this was not deemed to be a violation of the Match Management Regulations. While consulting with lawyers and the police regarding how to deal with the individual, the Competition Management Headquarters staff has taken a firm stance and strived to prevent any further violations of the Match Management Regulations. On the day of the match, when it was confirmed that the individual was attending, the Competition Management Headquarters staff held a dialogue with him, and two people, one Competition Management Headquarters staff member and one security guard, were constantly monitoring his movements within visual range and on guard.
Despite taking such measures, we are truly sorry that we were unable to prevent the occurrence of violations of the match management regulations. We also feel very sorry to the Urawa Reds fans and supporters who were watching the match in accordance with the spectating rules.

Urawa Reds will continue to focus on measures to prevent the occurrence of violations and will take timely, appropriate and firm action against any violations, in order to create a safe, comfortable, exciting and packed stadium.
