Post-match comments
Maciej Skorza
(Manager)
- "We managed to get three very important points. In pressure-filled matches like this, the mental aspect is important, and I think the players showed that very well.
I think we played a solid defense, but Kashiwa was aggressive, so we struggled a bit with the build-up. Even so, we were able to show good teamwork and team spirit as everyone tried to control the game. We fought to score until the very end, and luck was on our side this time. In recent games, we've been unlucky. I'd like to thank the players for their efforts today.
I also think we were able to play in a wonderful atmosphere. The support from our fans and supporters was amazing, and gave the team a positive boost. Thank you very much."
Opponent team comment
Masami Ihara
(Manager)
- "Although we have played fewer games than our opponent, we were both on the same level of points, so we went into the match fully aware of the importance of today's match. We had our sights set on what Urawa wanted to do, and although we had only had three days to prepare, the game itself was very close, and I think we played with a clear goal in mind.
"I think that if there are football gods, they did not smile on us at the very end, but this is football, so we have to accept it. We can still decide whether we stay in the league by ourselves, so we have to keep our heads up and do our best in the remaining four games."
