"To all those who love Urawa, I have decided to transfer to Tokushima Vortis on a permanent basis. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the club for respecting my decision and sending me off so warmly at this time of transfer.
Looking back over the past two and a half years, I have seen with my own eyes, felt with my own heart, and pushed forward with all my heart, things I have never felt before.
During that process, I was given by everyone associated with Urawa Reds, and the many things I gained from that will live on in my heart for the rest of my life.
I would also like to thank everyone who always holds up Ken Iwao 's uniform. You all gave me courage.
I can't talk about everything here, but I have no regrets about what I've done up to now.
I believe this is my greatest and final goal with Urawa Reds.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the best fans and supporters in Japan who have brought me this far, to all the partners who wish Urawa Reds victory, to all the Urawa Reds Club staff who entrusted me with the job, and to all the support for Ken Iwao who has many shortcomings.
I sincerely hope for the continued success of Urawa Red Diamonds.
