I am extremely pleased that our team was able to perform so well against such a great opponent. Especially during the first half of the match, our team kept the ball in their possession and they hardly gave any chance to our opponent. On the other hand, our team had a few big chances during the first half. For this reason, I thought we could have scored a few more goals.
During the second half of the match, both teams played a very open match. I thought both teams had good opportunities and we both scored a goal. I felt that we had two or three good opportunities. Over all, our team had six or seven big chances in total. Our team players performed extremely well today. Though Cerezo Osaka also had a few good chances, I felt that our team had even double the opportunities our opponent had.
I should also mention that Umesaki played so well today. It has been about two years since he left the team. I am very glad that he was able to come back to the team in good condition again thanks to the good cooperation provided by our medical staff members and the team.
