We will play the next five matches with our chins up-Team Manager Petrovic

Comment from Team Manager Petrovic after the J. League 29th Sec match against Omiya Ardija

We had a very terrible result today. Just like many of our other matches, though we were able to control the ball and had the ball in our possession often, we were not able to make the most of the great opportunities we had to lead the match. This was often the case with our team in the past matches. To be honest with you, our forward players scored few goals so far. I came to realize that this has been a real issue with us during this season.
However, we will play the next five matches with our chins up. I know Urawa Reds has to stay in J1. There is no other way left for the club, staff members and players but to work together as one to fight through to move forward. During the last few matches, players who are not in forward positions such as Haraguchi, Kashiwagi and Umesaki performed well to score a few goals. However, it would be difficult for any teams in the world to win many matches if their forward players are not able to score many goals. As for us, we must do our best in the forthcoming 5 matches to achieve good results.
I am not trying to criticize any specific players here. It is not my style to do so. However, figures on our record show that our team has not scored many goals. I must say Urawa Reds needs more forward players who can score goals.
