10/20 (Friday) Regarding Sustainable Day implementation

October 20th (Friday) 2023 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Round 30 vs. Kashiwa Reysol [MATCH PARTNER J:COM] will be held as “Sustainable Day” and will feature “Kono Yubi TomaREDS! ” We will implement various measures related to SDGs, including food drives and special menu sales of upcycled mugs.

Please use this as an opportunity to rethink about the environment in order to create a prosperous community and society for the next generation!

For this match, carbon offsets (*) will be implemented at Urawa Reds and Saitama Stadium 2○○2.

*Carbon offset refers to emissions of greenhouse gases such as CO2 that are unavoidable in daily life and economic activities. First, efforts are made to reduce emissions as much as possible, and greenhouse gases that are unavoidably emitted are reduced in emissions. The idea is to offset greenhouse gas emissions by investing in appropriate greenhouse gas reduction activities.

[2] Collect unused clothes! “Sustainable Fashion”
We will collect clothes that you no longer wear (*excluding replica uniforms).
For those who bring in 5 or more items, we will give away gifts to the first 200 people!
The collected clothes are recycled into fuel and materials that help reduce CO2 emissions, and reused as clothing.

We will collect leftover food from homes and other places from fans and supporters.
The food you entrust to us will be delivered to welfare facilities and other people in need in Saitama City through Saitama City and Food Bank Saitama.
Through this activity, we aim to reduce food loss and contribute to supporting families in poverty.
