「令和6年能登半島地震」災害支援活動のご報告

Regarding the earthquake disaster that occurred on January 1st in the Noto region, we would like to once again offer our heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected.

Until now, Urawa Reds, together with our partner Friends of the United Nations Asia Pacific, have been accepting generous donations at home game venues and other locations as part of the Great East Japan Earthquake Relief Project. Upon hearing of the news of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we have decided to use the total donations of 2,681,872 yen at that time to deliver items that are needed in the affected areas as quickly as possible.

We are now pleased to report that in response to requests from the affected areas through Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific, we distributed hygiene kits, which take into consideration the physical condition of women and the elderly in particular, in response to the expected prolonged evacuation life and to prevent infectious diseases, to designated relief supply collection sites and evacuation shelters, mainly in Monzen-cho and Shika-cho, Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

As one of the major pillars of the "SPORTS FOR PEACE! Project," Urawa Reds will continue to provide support for disasters both at home and abroad, including the Great East Japan Earthquake.

We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
