ACL 2022 championship commemorative ball presented to children in hometown
To commemorate their victory in the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2022, the team began donating soccer balls to children in their hometown in October last year, and the donation activity ended in March this year.
This activity was positioned as part of the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) recommended social contribution activities for the hometown using part of the championship prize money, and was carried out with the aim of creating a rich local community and society for the next generation as an activity based on the club's philosophy. This time, 2,000 soccer balls were donated to 58 public and private elementary schools and special needs schools in Saitama City (Urawa Ward, Midori Ward, Minami Ward, Sakura Ward, and Chuo Ward) and 36 youth soccer clubs in the old Urawa area.
In October of last year, we visited Saitama City Board of Education Superintendent Takei Hideko, explained the purpose and objectives of this activity, and began making donations to each school.

When making the donations, Heart-full Club coaches visited schools that they had scheduled visits to provide support for elementary school classes, while club staff split up to visit other schools, and whenever possible, delivered the items "directly" to the children.

Additionally, in December, the company participated in the opening ceremony of the 29th Urawa Youth Soccer Club Futsal Tournament hosted by Urawa Higashi Rotary Club, and donated soccer balls to 36 youth soccer clubs.

In addition, top team players also actively participated in this activity, spending time interacting with children in their hometowns after donating soccer balls.
Shusaku Nishikawa visited the Saitama University Faculty of Education Elementary School, and Ayumi Niekawa visited Saitama Prefectural Urawa Special Needs School, the final recipient of the activity, and handed out balls to the children.
This activity ended in March, but as a professional soccer club with roots in the local community, the club will continue to carry out a variety of activities to help children in its hometown have dreams and hopes through soccer and sports.
