Post-match comments
Ricardo Rodriguez
(Manager)
- "Regarding the match, I think we were able to keep possession of the ball and dominate the game. I think that was great, but I wish we could have done a little more to damage our opponents, or created more decisive attacking opportunities. We also had a chance to score the second goal, and if we had been able to convert that, it's disappointing that we couldn't.
However, our opponent was FC Tokyo, a team that played in the ACL (AFC Champions League) last year and won the YBC Levain Cup recently, so we were able to deny them any chances. It was really disappointing that we couldn't get the three points. I think the players fought and showed a performance worthy of the three points, so we couldn't get the three points because we conceded a goal at the end, and we also had many draws at other venues, so in many ways it was a bit disappointing. However, I am satisfied with the players' performance."
Opponent team comment
Kenta Hasegawa
(Manager)
- “I would like to take a positive view of the fact that we were able to come home with one point in a difficult situation. Today was by no means a compliment, but we only had three days left. (YBC) The Levain Cup and the league will continue in a week, so I would like to prepare my condition and fight so that I can play a good game.”
