Miyamoto and Horiuchi tour an art studio for people with disabilities

On the 17th, Yuta Miyamoto and Yota Horiuchi visited an art workshop for people with disabilities run by the Minuma Welfare Association, a social welfare corporation, and interacted with the artists while observing how people with disabilities create art.

The relationship between Urawa Reds and Minuma Welfare Association has been going on for 10 years.

Urawa Reds staff empathize with the facility's staff's desire to let as many people in society know that they can live their lives and work in their own way, even if they have a disability. They started visiting the facility and started interacting with each other.

I also learned that the workshop's artists use scrap materials from Urawa Reds, which is located next to Saitama Stadium, when they create their woodworks, which deepened our relationship even further.

After 10 years, and with the cooperation of various people, the 2023 ``LIVE TOGETHER!'' art exhibition for people with disabilities will be held as part of the `` Urawa Reds SDGs'' at this season's Urawa Reds home games. Ta.

This art exhibition, which has been well received by many fans and supporters, will be held throughout next season, starting with the home opener. Miyamoto and Horiuchi visited Koboshu and Taiyo Kawaguchi's house and observed the art production process.

While watching Yuki Tanaka at Koboshu, Kenji Ogushi, Naoki Shirata, and Takashi Maeda at Kawaguchi Taiyo's House create Urawa Reds themed art, they interacted with a variety of people. When we received business cards from the artists, we handed them autographed photos as business cards. Other people also agreed to sign autographs and take photos.

Some of them asked for autographs on the clothes they were wearing, while others were moved to tears by meeting the players of the team they were rooting for at Saitama Stadium. They seemed happy.

In addition, at each location, we worked together with the artists to plant Red's Roses, which were given to new ateliers when they opened in 2015. Both Miyamoto and Horiuchi expressed their gratitude for allowing them to tour the stadium and sent messages wishing them a chance to see them again at the stadium. They ended their visit feeling refreshed and left with the following thoughts.

I was also able to reconfirm this, and I was happy to be able to interact with everyone.I'm not very good at drawing, but I thought it was really amazing to see how various values were expressed through art.''

[Yota Horiuchi]
``I don't often get the chance to visit places like this, so it was a very valuable experience.Seeing the artists working made me feel like I had to work even harder.
