FCWC semi-finals vs. Manchester City FC "We struggled against the European champions but did not advance to the finals. On to the third place match"

On January 19 (local time), Urawa Reds traveled to King Abdullah Sports City Stadium for the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 semi-final against Manchester City FC.

The Reds struggled with a focused defense, but conceded a goal in first-half added time. In the second half, they went on the offensive from the start, trying to score goals, but they conceded two goals and lost 0-3 to the European champions.
