Violation by Urawa Reds Supporters (Discipline decision)

Regarding the multiple violations by Urawa Reds Red Diamonds supporters that were confirmed in the J1 League Round 7 match against Nagoya Grampus, we have completed the fact-finding including interviews with the perpetrators.
In response to this, we have decided to punish the perpetrators as follows.

■ disposal 1
・Violation
(1) Intrusion into restricted areas
(2) Posting banners in areas where banners are prohibited

・Those subject to disposal
5 Urawa Urawa Reds supporters who lead both actions

・Description
Prohibition of admission to three Urawa Reds home games to be held after April 12 (Wednesday)
(Away games held during the home game entry ban period are also included in the entry ban target games)

・Disposition decision process
As a result of the interview survey, the supporters were permitted to post the curtain in the off-limits area at the J1 League home game of Nagoya Grampus held at Toyota Stadium in the 2023 season, and spectator seats in the area were sold. There was a claim that the above (1) and (2) were done without recognizing that it was a restricted area. However, it is clearly stated on Nagoya Grampus official website that it is prohibited to do so, and in light of the fact that the spectator rules stipulated by the home club were violated, the above disciplinary action was taken.

■ disposal 2
・Violation
(3) Disputes including acts that are considered to be assaults on security guards

・Those subject to disposal
1 Urawa Reds supporter who acted

・Description
Prohibition of admission to 10 Urawa Reds home games to be held after April 12 (Wednesday)
(Away games held during the home game entry ban period are also included in the entry ban target games)

・Disposition decision process
Even at this time, the perpetrator has not admitted to committing a violent act, and we have not been able to confirm information that can objectively prove the fact, so the content of the act is expressed as above. In addition, although there is a fact that a settlement has already been reached between the parties, it is never permissible to engage in acts that are considered to be assaults, regardless of the degree, and the fact of the settlement is based on the disposition. We have determined that it will not affect the decision, and have taken the above action with the consent of the person concerned.

■Others
Nagoya Grampus pointed out that "attaching decorations to the seats on the 2nd floor of the S stand without prior application or permission" was not clearly stated in the spectator rules announced by Nagoya Grampus, and there was no prior explanation. Since we did not receive it, we will not recognize it as a violation and will not be subject to disciplinary action.

Once again, I would like to sincerely apologize to Nagoya Grampus, the victims of the violence, and all other people involved.
Urawa Reds will make further efforts to review its response as a club, to take timely, appropriate and resolute responses to violations, and to make everyone aware of and thoroughly comply with spectator rules.
