The match against Tosu on April 7th (Sun) is "SPORTS FOR PEACE! DAY"
Urawa Reds are promoting the "SPORTS FOR PEACE! Project" together with our partner, Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific, with the aim of achieving happiness and peace through sports.
Since the "signing ceremony for partnership activities" held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on March 12, 2009, this project has been involved in "awareness activities to eradicate discrimination," "building safe stadiums," "grassroots international exchange," and "support for areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake." We have been working on these four areas in which we should specialize.
As part of this project, and as April 6th is the United Nations' International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League will be held on April 7th (Sunday). The 7th match against Sagan Tosu will be designated as ``SPORTS FOR PEACE! DAY'' and various activities will be carried out to convey and spread the wonders of sports.
"Sports is a struggle, but there are rules."
Athletes put this into practice through their play. Fair play nurtures the hearts of children.
The club aims to be a "Reds Wonderland" and provides a safe, comfortable and extraordinary space.
The passionate support of fans and supporters, with rules, deepens bonds with teammates and leads the team to victory.
On this day, "SPORTS FOR PEACE! DAY," we aim to create a stadium where you can feel a lot of happiness, a stadium that is full of pride, and we hope that all fans and supporters will understand our efforts. We invite your participation.
In order to create a stadium that Urawa Reds can be proud of, we need the support of all our fans and supporters.
We sincerely ask for the understanding and cooperation of as many people as possible.

About "SPORTS FOR PEACE!"
The ``SPORTS FOR PEACE!'' program, launched by Urawa Reds in November 2010 together with our partner United Nations Friends of Asia-Pacific, is an extremely important means through which sports can bring tolerance and mutual understanding to people. This activity was established based on the recognition that there is a need for sport, and was recognized by the United Nations Office for Sports for Peace and Development (UNOSDP) at the time as an activity that participates in and contributes to the United Nations program ``SPORTS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE''.
