"I have decided to leave the team in order to prepare for a move to a club overseas.
Since joining Urawa Reds from Marseille in June 2021, as a member of this great, traditional club, I have given my all in every game, with the desire to win as many titles as possible together with our fans and supporters.
Among those, winning the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2022, which was my biggest goal when I transferred to Urawa, has become very special for me.
Approximately 700 fans and supporters made the journey to Saudi Arabia for the first leg of the ACL final, despite the fact that it was a big away game.
That scene and the support I received are still vividly etched in my mind.
No matter what career I choose to pursue in the future, I will never forget the ACL title that we won with everyone's passionate feelings.
It was a very difficult decision to leave the team at such a time, but just like when I decided to move from Marseille to Urawa Reds, it was a necessary decision in order to pursue my new goals and challenges.
I will definitely succeed in this challenge again and do my best to have a great career and life.
Finally, I would like to thank the club for understanding and respecting my feelings.
And above all, I am grateful to everyone associated with Urawa Reds who has shown me their love and affection over the past three years.
I'm really thankful to you.
